Providing your email address is necessary so that we can answer your request. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a GDPR based on your voluntarily given consent. § 3 Orders in the online shop
- If you would like to place an order in our online shop, we collect and process the data you provide there (name, address, payment details) to process the contract. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter b GDPR.
- (2)If you would like to open a customer account, we will collect and process the data you provide there (name, address, payment details) to make subsequent orders easier for you. Opening a customer account is voluntary. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter a GDPR. We store this data for as long as you are our customer. You can delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the contact option described above.
- (3) In some cases, we use external service providers, in particular payment service providers, to process your order. We pass on your payment data to these companies for payment processing. When processing the payment, you may be redirected to the websites of these companies, whose data protection declaration also applies in this case. - In order to fulfil the contract when delivering goods, we pass on your delivery address to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, to the extent that this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter b GDPR.
- Due to commercial and tax law requirements, we are obliged to store your order data for the legally stipulated period. The legal basis for this is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter c GDPR. After the tax and commercial law retention periods have expired, we will delete your order data unless you have consented to further use.
§ 4 Your rights

In particular, you can obtain information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a Right to complain, the origin of your data, if it was not collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if necessary, meaningful information about its details;
- in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to immediately request the correction of incorrect or complete personal data stored by us;
- in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is carried out to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend is required by legal claims;
- in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if you dispute the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful but you refuse its deletion and we no longer need the data but you use it to assert it , exercise or defend legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR and

§ 1 Scope
- These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders that customers (hereinafter “customer” or “you”) place via our online shop.
- Differing general terms and conditions of the customer will not be recognized unless we expressly agree to their validity in writing.

§ 3 Ordering process and conclusion of contract
By listing the products in our online shop, we ask you to make a binding purchase offer to us. Once you have found the product you want, you can add it to your shopping cart without obligation by clicking on it. You can remove products from your shopping cart at any time by clicking the [delete] button.
By clicking the [order for a fee] button, you complete the ordering process and make a binding purchase offer to us for the products in your shopping cart. The process can be cancelled at any time by closing the browser window. You can find further information on the individual pages, eg about correction options.
Immediately after submitting your order, you will receive an email confirmation of receipt. This email does not constitute an order confirmation.
We will accept your offer within two days
- we issue a declaration of acceptance or order confirmation in a separate email or
- we have the goods delivered or
- if necessary, the payment transaction is carried out by our service provider or the selected payment service provider. The time when the payment transaction is carried out depends on the payment method selected (see under “Payment conditions”).
The alternative that is relevant to you depends on which of the listed events occurs first.
§ 4 Prices and shipping costs
- The prices stated on the product pages include VAT for all EU countries. For all non-EU countries sales taxes are excluded. Product prices are set using existing currency exchange rates. These prices are subject to change if the applicable currency exchange rate changes before your order is accepted or the items are subject to markdowns at any time during the selling period. Zarilù reserves the right to modify the price of products offered on the Website at any time without prior notice to the Customer. You will be charged the prices displayed on the Website at the time the order was confirmed by you.
- Shipping costs are included in price, however Zarilù is not responsible for import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country of destination. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel (this also applies to retail & wholesale customers). Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot foresee cost, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. It is suggested to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so not to be surprised by charges you were not expecting.
- Zarilù insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified delivery address. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by Zarilù and transfer of responsibility in the same way.
§ 5 Delivery
- The products will generally be delivered by our trusted express Courier, within 2 to 5 business days from the order confirmation date if in Europe, up to 7 business days outside of Europe. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. Zarilù is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes or problems with the Courrier companies.
- All orders are processed from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.
- Once your package is shipped from our warehouse, you will receive an email containing your Tracking Number to follow its progress.
- All our deliveries are insured until signed for and presented in packaging.
- Upon delivery of the Products, you, or the person designated by you, are required to sign the delivery requested by the Courier.
- Products shall be delivered to the address indicated by you in the order form at the checkout. Zarilù is not responsible for any delivery problems arising from incomplete or incorrect address details supplied by you.
- We do not deliver to packing stations.
§ 6 Payment conditions
The following payment methods are generally available to you in our shop:
1. Credit card
When you submit your order, you provide your credit card details. Your card will be charged immediately after you place your order.
2. GPay
If you select the payment method “Google Pay,” payment will be processed by the payment service provider Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), subject to the Google Pay Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy for Google Payments.
To use Google Pay, you need a payment method registered with Google and a compatible device. Your payment method will be charged immediately after the order is completed.
3. Paypal
If you select the payment method “PayPal,” payment will be processed by the payment service provider PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg.
You need a PayPal account to use this service. The PayPal Terms of Use and PayPal's privacy policy apply.
Your account will be debited immediately after confirmation of the payment instruction.
4. Apple Pay
If you select “Apple Pay” as your payment method, payment will be processed via the payment service “Apple Pay” provided by Apple Inc., One Apple Park Way, Cupertino, CA 95014, USA, or its European subsidiaries.
To use this service, you need an Apple device with Apple Wallet enabled and a supported payment method stored there. The terms of use of Apple Pay and the privacy policy of Apple apply.
Your payment method will be charged immediately after the order is completed. Your card details are not transmitted to us, but are processed via a secure tokenization system. Apple Pay only transmits a device specific account number and a transaction code.
5. Shop Pay
If you select the payment method “Shop Pay,” payment will be processed by the payment service provider Shopify Payments (Shopify International Ltd., Ireland) in conjunction with Shop Pay.
Shop Pay enables accelerated checkout by storing payment and shipping information. The terms of use of Shop Pay and the privacy policy of Shopify apply.
Your payment method will be charged immediately after the order is completed.
6. Bank Transfer
Please contact us at info@zarilujewellery.com should you prefer paying by bank transfer.
Upon agreement the Customer can send a wire transfer to our account instead of paying through a credit or debit card. The order will be complete once the funds arrive in our account which depending on different banks can take up to 7 business days. Consequently from the time of purchase, you will have 7 working days to complete the wire transfer and once received we will email you to confirm. If we do not receive a bank wire transfer within 7 working days, your order will be cancelled. Your bank may charge you a wire transfer fee and we can only accept payments made in Euros.
If you are experiencing issues at checkout with our payment portal, please email us at info@zarilujewellery.com and we can find another way to complete your purchase.
§ 7 Retention of title
The product remains our property until full payment.
§ 8 Warranty
The statutory warranty rights apply to the products offered in our online shop.
§ 9 Cancellation policy for consumers
Consumers have the following right of cancellation:
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you who is not the carrier took possession of the last goods.
Custom orders (including but not limited to resizing or not in stock items), customized engraving, are final sales and they cannot be returned. If you purchased an item from an outside retailer and would like to return or exchange it, this must be done through the retailer. We are only able to process returns or exchanges for pieces purchased directly from our atelier in Hamburg or our e-shop www.zarilujewellery.com.
The Products shall be returned in their original condition, unaltered, unused, undamaged, in their original packaging. All returns and exchanges are subject to a quality assurance inspection process before they are accepted.
Any Product with signs of wear, damage, or alteration (including but not limited to re sizing) cannot be accepted.
You may be held liable in the case of depreciation of the value of the product as a result of handling that is not consistent with preservation of the nature, characteristics of the products.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement to info@zarilujewellery.com with the complete form by filling in the requested info’s:

RETURN FOR REFUND: To initiate a return, send us the request via email, as stated above. After receiving your return request, we will email you in few days a courtesy return label together with instructions to return the piece.
Once your returned piece has been received and it is deemed compliant to our conditions and requirements, we will proceed with a refund. Please kindly note that the shipping cost of the return will be deducted from the refund and all the prior shipping costs are not refundable. You will receive a Credit Note notification email once the refund is processed.
Your refund will be credited back to the same method of payment used to make the original purchase on the Website once the returned products are received and passed our quality insurance inspection.
RETURN FOR REPAIR: For repair inquiries, please send us an email at info@zarilujewellery.com. Please indicate the required repair within the email.
The repairs will be approved on a case-by case basis and we reserve the right to decide whether the repair is approved under manufacturing defect warranty or not. Non warranty repairs will be subject to a price estimate based on the damage or difficulty of the job, which will be submitted to you for acceptance before any repair.
Zarilù reserves the right to deny unreasonable repairs and assess if the damage was caused by misuse, improper care or what is considered normal wear and tear.
In the event of a manufacturing defect or if you received the wrong item, please email us within 48 hours from receiving your jewel.
RETURN FOR EXCHANGE: When available in stock, you may exchange your Product for another size, colour variant of the same model originally purchased or with a new style with an equal or greater value only. We will not exchange merchandise for items of lesser value.
Please indicate the new size/colour or style within your return email.
If you have exchanged the purchased product for another product of higher price, you will be charged the difference.
After receiving your exchange request, we will email you in few days a return label pre paid by us together with instructions to return the piece you would like to exchange.
Once your returned piece has been received and processed, you will receive an additional email to cover the second shipment cost and to confirm the delivery address. Shipment will be then processed 2-5 business days after receiving the payment.
§ 10 Custom Orders
We are pleased to assist clients looking for engagement rings, variations of existing pieces, or fully bespoke creations. For custom or bespoke enquiries, please contact us at info@zarilujewellery.com.
Our team aims to respond within 2 to 5 working days. Once the details of the custom order, including the final price and estimated shipping time, have been agreed, the client will receive an email to complete the purchase. Full payment is required at that stage, as with a pre-order.
For custom orders involving a completely new design, Zarilù may require an advance payment before preparing a render or design proposal.
Once your custom order is ready for shipment, you will receive a confirmation email.
Please note that all custom orders, including personalised engraving, are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or cancelled. Zarilù also reserves the right to decline any custom order request where production or operational constraints apply.
§ 11 Product descriptions and artisanal processes
The colour of the gemstones may vary from that shown in the photographs due to the natural nuances and tonal variations inherent in each stone. While we take great care to present our pieces as faithfully and in as much detail as possible, we cannot warrant that colours will be reproduced with complete accuracy across all screens and devices. Please also note that slight variations in colour, together with any subtle traces of the artisanal process, are intrinsic to the nature and craftsmanship of hand-painted enamel and shall not be regarded as faults or manufacturing defects.
§ 12 Storage of contract text, contract language
- The contract text is not stored by us. You can view, print and save the terms and conditions on our homepage under the menu item “Terms and Conditions”. The order details and the terms and conditions will also be sent to you by email.
- The contract language is English.
§ 13 Dispute resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS), which you can find here: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a customer arbitration board.
§ 14 Data protection declaration
By completing your order you agree to our data protection declaration, which you can find at the top of this page.
§ 15 Final commissions
- The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies to contracts between us and the customer, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The legal regulations regarding the restriction of the choice of law and the applicability of mandatory regulations, in particular the state in which the customer as a consumer has his habitual residence, remain unaffected.
- If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from contractual relationships between us and the customer is Berlin.
- If a provision of these General Terms and Conditions is invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid. The relevant statutory provisions apply in place of the invalid provision.
