If you would like to create a unique piece of jewellery to mark a special moment, ZARILÙ offers a bespoke process shaped around you and your story. Whether in person or remotely, Giulia works closely with you to explore ideas, inspirations and the direction of a piece that feels personal and meaningful.

These conversations are an important part of the process, as the story behind each commission often helps guide the piece from the very beginning. As a gemmologist, Giulia also offers expert guidance in selecting the right gemstones, helping you choose stones not only for their beauty, but also for their character, quality and significance.

From gemstones and precious metals to the final details, each bespoke jewel is developed with care and expertise, and you will be kept updated throughout the process. In selected cases, existing natural gemstones can also be reworked into a new setting or design, depending on their nature, quality and condition.

Step 1:

Consultation

The process begins with a conversation. You are invited to share your ideas, inspirations and references, whether through images, sketches or a simple description. Consultations can take place in person or remotely.

Step 2:

Design

Your ideas are then translated into a first design direction, usually a sketch. Once the sketch is approved, we will start working on 3D renderings and the piece begins to take shape. At this stage, gemstones are sourced according to your brief, or selected from available stones.

Step 3:

Production

Once the design or wax is approved, the piece moves into production with selected artisans and workshops. From casting and goldsmithing to stone setting, enamelling and finishing, each step is carried out with care and attention to detail.
